Instructions

2-Second Step: In a large bowl, beat together the 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup sugar until fluffy and pale yellow, about 3 to 5 minutes.

3-Third Step: Add the 1/2 cup sour cream and mix well, then incorporate the 2 large eggs, 2 teaspoons almond extract, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.

4-Fourth Step: In another bowl, whisk together the 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt.
