Ingredients
– 1 small diced onion
– 1 tablespoon minced garlic
– 1 pound (approximately 450 grams) ground beef
– 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
– 1 pound (approximately 450 grams) pizza dough rolled into a rectangle
– 1 cup (about 120 grams) Mexican cheese blend
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– Salsa for dipping
– Guacamole for dipping
Instructions
1-Sautรฉ the diced onion and minced garlic in a pan until they turn transparent, which takes just a few minutes to build a flavorful base.
2-Add the 1 pound of ground beef to the pan and cook it with 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning until it’s fully browned and aromatic.
3-On a floured surface, cut the 1 pound of pizza dough into five even strips and spoon the beef mixture along with some of the Mexican cheese blend onto the center of each strip.
4-Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the ends to seal them securely, creating neat breadsticks ready for baking.
5-Brush each breadstick with 1 tablespoon of olive oil to get that golden crust, then place them on a baking sheet.
6-Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and add more cheese on top for extra gooeyness.
7-Return to the oven for another 5 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
