Ingredients

– 1/4 cup sugar

– 1 teaspoon cinnamon

– 40 saltine crackers

– 1 cup salted butter

– 1 cup brown sugar

– 2 cups white chocolate chips

Instructions

1-Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a 10 x 15 inch baking sheet with aluminum foil, then spray with non-stick spray for easy removal later.

2-In a small bowl: whisk together 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon, then set aside for sprinkling at the end.

3-Place: 40 saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet to form the base.

4-Combine: 1 cup salted butter and 1 cup brown sugar in a saucepan, stirring frequently until it reaches a boil, and continue stirring for 5 minutes to create a smooth toffee layer.

5-Pour: the mixture evenly over the crackers, making sure every piece is covered.

6-Bake: the pan for 5 minutes in the oven until bubbly and golden.

7-Remove: from the oven and let sit for a minute or two until the crackers settle, then use a butter knife to arrange any overlapping crackers back into place.

8-Immediately sprinkle: 2 cups white chocolate chips over the hot toffee and allow them to melt, then spread evenly.

9-Sprinkle: the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the melted chocolate.

10-Let cool: completely, then cut or break into pieces to serve.
