– 8 ounces (about 225 grams) softened cream cheese
– 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
– 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
– 1 teaspoon chopped fresh chives
– 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
– Salt and black pepper to taste
– 1 English cucumber, thinly sliced
– 1 loaf white bread or bread of choice with crusts removed
Instructions
1-First, mix the 8 ounces of softened cream cheese and 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise with a hand mixer until smooth.
2-Next, stir in the 2 teaspoons of chopped fresh dill, 1 teaspoon of chopped fresh chives, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, and salt and black pepper to taste.
3-Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on one side of each bread slice from the loaf.
4-Layer the thinly sliced English cucumber over half of the bread slices, and if you like, add extra herbs and black pepper on top.
5-Place the remaining bread slices on top to form the sandwiches, then cut each one into three pieces.
