๐Ÿฅš Deviled Eggs Recipes feature classic and creative flavor twists that make this appetizer a versatile and crowd-pleasing choice.
๐ŸŒฟ Perfect for gatherings or snacks, these deviled eggs combine smooth, tangy fillings with customizable garnishes for every palate.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 12 deviled eggs halves

Ingredients

– 12 large eggs

– 1/3 cup mayonnaise or a mix of half mayonnaise and half plain Greek yogurt

– 2 tablespoons pickle relish or diced dill pickle

– 1 1/2 teaspoons mustard or yellow mustard

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Paprika or chives for garnish

Instructions

1-Step 1: Making deviled eggs at home is straightforward and fun, starting with hard-boiling the eggs using one of three reliable methods. First, hard boil the eggs: Place 12 large eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, bring to a boil, add 1 teaspoon baking soda, cover, remove from heat, and let sit for 12 minutes. Then transfer to an ice water bath to cool for easy peeling.

2-Step 2: Alternatively, use a pressure cooker by adding 1 cup water and a wire rack, placing eggs on the rack, cooking on high pressure for 5 minutes with a 5-minute natural release, then an ice bath for 5 minutes. Or, preheat your oven to 325ยฐF, place each egg in a muffin tin cup, bake for 30 minutes, and follow with an ice bath for 10 minutes to ensure perfect results every time.

3-Assembling the Eggs: Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks carefully and place them in a mixing bowl, then add 1/3 cup mayonnaise (or the mayo and Greek yogurt mix), 2 tablespoons pickle relish, 1 1/2 teaspoons mustard, salt, and pepper to the yolks. Mash and mix until fairly smooth, adjusting ingredients and seasoning to taste for that perfect creamy texture.

4-Step 4: Finally, spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites and garnish with paprika or chopped chives just before serving. Refrigerate and serve chilled, with the whole process taking about 25 minutes including 15 minutes prep and 10 minutes cooking, depending on your chosen method.
