– 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning, divided

– 2/3 cup Italian cheese blend

Instructions

1-First, start by sautéing the chopped onions and minced garlic until they’re translucent, which takes about 5 minutes set this mix aside to build those layers of flavor.

2-Next, cook the Italian sausage until it’s browned, drain the grease, and add it to your onion mixture for that hearty base.

3-Don’t forget to cook the orzo according to the package instructions, then stir it into the sausage and onion combo.

4-Now, mix in one 8-ounce can of tomato sauce, along with 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, and the 2/3 cup Italian cheese blend. Season everything with salt and pepper to your liking, creating a filling that’s packed with taste.

5-Halve and seed the 3 bell peppers, then arrange them in a baking dish and fill each one with your prepared mixture.
