Instructions

1-First, make the strawberry jam: Cut and chop 1 pound of fresh strawberries, then cook them with 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar and 1/4 cup lemon juice over medium-low heat for 10-20 minutes until thickened. This step adds a homemade touch that elevates the cakeโ€™s flavor.

2-Next, prepare the peanut streusel: In a bowl, mix 1 1/2 tablespoons of salted butter (room temperature), 2 2/3 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1/4 cup chopped dry roasted unsalted peanuts, 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, and a pinch of ground cinnamon until well combined.
