– 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves

– 1/2 tsp dried rosemary

– 2 tsp minced garlic

– 2 cups beef broth

– 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

– 6 slices provolone cheese

– 6 buns

Instructions

1-Creating this slow cooked beef loin tri tip roast begins with simple steps that lead to amazing results. Start by mixing the salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, and garlic to form a seasoning rub, then apply it evenly over the tri tip roast for deep flavor infusion.

2-Next, place the seasoned roast in a 6-quart slow cooker and pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce around it, making sure not to disturb the rub. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours until the meat is tender and easy to shred. After cooking, remove the roast, shred or slice it, and reserve the strained cooking liquid as au jus for dipping.

3-To finish, butter and toast the buns, add shredded meat and a slice of provolone cheese to the bottom halves, then broil until the cheese melts.
