πŸ₯“ This Triple Cheese Bacon Explosion Sandwich packs a savory punch with crispy turkey bacon and a blend of three cheeses for rich, satisfying flavor.
πŸ₯ͺ It combines fresh vegetables and melted cheese for a comforting and hearty meal perfect for lunch or dinner.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 2 sandwiches

Ingredients

– 6 slices of turkey bacon (170 grams)

– 4 slices of sourdough bread

– 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil (28 grams)

– 4 ounces (113 grams) softened cream cheese

– 1/2 cup (120 ml) shredded cheddar cheese (57 grams)

– 1/2 cup (120 ml) shredded mozzarella cheese (57 grams)

– 1 tablespoon (15 ml) mayonnaise

– 1 ripe tomato, sliced

– 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh spinach leaves (15 grams)

– Salt and black pepper to taste

– 1 tablespoon butter for cooking

Instructions

1-Cooking the turkey bacon: cooking the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until it’s crispy, then set it aside for layering later.

2-Mixing the cheese: mix the softened cream cheese with the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses in a bowl; stir in the mayonnaise and season with salt and black pepper to bring out the flavors.

3-Spreading the cheese mixture: Spread this cheese mixture evenly on one side of each sourdough bread slice to build the sandwich’s core.

4-Assembling the sandwich: On two of the slices, add the tomato slices and spinach leaves over the cheese, then top with 3 slices of the cooked turkey bacon for that signature explosion. Cover these with the remaining bread slices, cheese side down, to form two hearty sandwiches that are ready for grilling.

5-Grilling the sandwiches: Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter in it. Cook one sandwich for 3-4 minutes per side until it’s golden brown and the cheese melts perfectly inside. For the second sandwich, add more butter and repeat the process, ensuring even cooking.

6-Final step: Let the sandwiches cool slightly before slicing and serving to enjoy the full flavor and texture.
