Ingredients

– 4 cups (400g) ground, roasted hazelnuts

– 3 tablespoons cacao powder

– 3 teaspoons baking powder

– ΒΎ cup (220ml) maple syrup

– Slightly less than Β½ cup (90ml) plant milk

– β…“ cup (60g) vegan dark chocolate chips

– ΒΎ cup (100g) blanched roasted hazelnuts, plus extra for topping

Instructions

1-Preheat oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).

2-In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients 4 cups (400g) ground, roasted hazelnuts, 3 tablespoons cacao powder, and 3 teaspoons baking powder to prevent any clumps from forming.

3-Add the wet ingredients ΒΎ cup (220ml) maple syrup and slightly less than Β½ cup (90ml) plant milk and stir until just combined for a smooth batter.

4-Pulse half of the blanched roasted hazelnuts (about 75g or Β½ cup) in a food processor 2-3 times until they’re broken down but still chunky.

5-Fold the pulsed hazelnuts and β…“ cup (60g) vegan dark chocolate chips into the batter for added texture and flavor.

6-Transfer the mixture to a baking pan lined with parchment paper to avoid sticking.

7-Top with extra blanched roasted hazelnuts for a crunchy finish.

8-Bake for 25 minutes, then turn off the oven and leave the brownies inside for another 10 minutes to set perfectly.

9-Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting and serving to achieve the best texture.
