๐Ÿฅจ Create show-stopping dessert bars that will impress your guests with their layered textures and incredible flavor combination that’s impossible to resist

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 24 bars

Ingredients

– 28 whole graham cracker sheets processed into fine crumbs

– 12 tablespoons melted butter

– 3 tablespoons sugar

– A pinch of salt

– Two 14-ounce cans of sweetened condensed milk

– Two 10-ounce bags of bittersweet chocolate chips

– 1.5 cups of mini pretzels

– 1 cup of caramel pieces or caramels cut into quarters

Instructions

1-Begin by preheating your oven, as this sets the stage for a golden crust that forms the foundation of these treats.

2-First, preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9ร—13 inch pan for even baking. Crush 28 whole graham cracker sheets into fine crumbs and mix them with 12 tablespoons of melted butter, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and a pinch of salt to create the crust base. Press this mixture evenly into the prepared pan using a flat-bottomed glass for a smooth, firm layer, then bake it for 10 minutes until it’s golden brown.

3-While the crust bakes, prepare the chocolate layer by melting two 14-ounce cans of sweetened condensed milk with two 10-ounce bags of bittersweet chocolate chips over low heat until smooth and creamy. Once the crust is out of the oven, pour this chocolate mixture over it evenly. Top the bars with 1.5 cups of mini pretzels and 1 cup of caramel pieces cut into quarters, gently pressing them into the chocolate for that perfect crunch.

4-Bake the assembled bars for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until they set nicely. Let them cool and refrigerate initially to help them firm up, making it easier to cut into smaller pieces due to their rich flavor.
